More Cute Things I Say...

~ Alexa was watching an episode of yo gabba gabba a cartoon, it was about handwashing taking baths and washing hair. That night we went to bed and Alexa passed some gas. It was loud enough for me to hear. I asked her "Did u fart?", she said "yea mommy I have to take a bath to wash the fart off." It was so funny I couldnt believe this came out of my baby girls mouth.

~ Luis came home from work tonite and Alexa says "Hi daddy were tooking meat, and rice etc.... it was soo funny she says tooking instead of cooking..

~ She refers to popcorn as topcorn..

~ In the morning when she wakes up she says momma its a beautiful , sunny day.  I think this is neat she is too sweet.

~ She like s to scream Rock and Roll not sure where she learned this one at but she says it al the time.

~ Tonite she said almost all her abc's she does her numbers in english to 12 and in spanish to 10 but still skips a couple and she still says mucho instead of ocho.

~ After she says abcs or numbers, or some other achievement shes proud of she bows and says thank you..

Cute things I say:

~ We were outside for about an hour and after that short time here u are soaked.  ME- "Alexa are you sweating you are all wet",  ALEXA-"no momma im not sweating", and then I look at her two minutes later she smiles and gets shy and says " im not sweating.." too cute

~Kind of similar to the one above, she will be touching something that shes not suppost to be touching. " I say Alexa dont touch that.. I look over she has that look in her eye and then she touchs it, I say Alexa I said dont touch that, she then says " im not touching it momma" in her innocent voice as she barely took her hand off of it and saw me looking at her.  She thinks I didnt just watch her touch it. I think all kids read a book in the womb, that says what they should say once they start to talk. All kids seems to say, IM NOT way too often, I dont think they even know what it really means since they are doing whatever they say they arent.

~ Daily she seems to have a checklists: Alexa told me- laundry/ check, get the mail, check/ and I told her next were gonna take a shower, I asked her what are we gonna do now, she said Watch Cartoons- check.. she cracks me up she was so excited and she purposely wanted to forget about the shower..

~I have pictures of family all over the house, everyone has a picture somewhere and she has a family book too that she can see pictures of everyone with their names beside them. She looks through it almost everyday, names everyone and then says I miss you... She is too sweet.

~She still likes to announce to everyone that she has gone potty in the toliet, even if were at a restaurant, and if I go also everyone knows about it too.  Its emabarrassing for me, but cant get made cause she is so proud of herself. even though she has been doing it since March.

Im gonna start writing some more down. My mind went blank. More cute things to come later.

Alexa turns 3.

I cant believe my baby girl is 3 years old already. Where has the time gone. The other day I found some videos of Alexa at a variety of ages its so neat to hear her when she wasnt talking and just making noises, to when she was crawling then walking and now running. I found my self almost tearing up a lil bit. Everyday I try to make the day about her and what we can learn or go see that day. Im making the most of every moment we have together. She is so special and im so happy that we get to spend so much time together. Chirdren are amazing and I cherish her so much.

Alexa is turning 3

We are ecited for Alexa's 3rd Birthday coming up on the 18th of July. We are having some friends over, cooking out and Alexa will probably be doing some swimming. We really wish our family coul dbe here, but since we are so far away it makes it hard. I will be takin glots of pictures and posting them right away. I am also going to attampt to make Alexa's Birthday cake all by myself. Nanny ussually makes it for her and she does an awesome job. So this year im sure I will be calling her during the prcess for all her tips and tricks. Alexa wants a Princess castle cake. She is gong to wear a Princess Cinderella dress and crown. Or as she calls it Cinderbrella. super cute. Well stay tuned for birthday party pictures.

4th of July Weekend at Sea World

We spent the 3rd and 4th at Sea World Orlando. We had a blast. Got lots of great pics too. Im excited to add them to my scrapbook.  Alexa also got to ride her first roller coaster. All the shows were great. We were able to see 5 out of the 8 shows they offer. A couple of them were at night, but we didnt stay for the night shows. We had two big days, we were all pretty wore out. More photos on my facebook page too.

Alexa is becoming more and more independent...

Couple things, ever since we got to Flordia, Alexa now takes herself to the restroom, attempts to wipe ( I help her) instead of asking and making me take her like before. Not sure if its because she know shes home now or if its just coincidence.
She also has been dressing herself, she always helped alot, but now she picks out her clothes and has to put themin, if you help or rush her she says " let me do it" if she needs help with turning shirt right side out she will have me do that, but she then says let me do it, so she can finsh the process and put it on. Its too cute. My lil angel is grwoing up so fast.

Today we finally got to play in the pool!!

Today we played in the sprinkler. Her swimming pool is a little bigger than excpected and mom ran out of air before we got 1/4 of the way done. So we will wait for daddy so he can use the air compresser. haha I told Alexa I couldnt air it up and she said" Thats ok mommy, my daddy fix it" , it was too cute she knows her daddy will always save the day. Tomorrow we will swim in her pool.

Alexa's first time seeing the ocean..

We spent this past weekend at Panama City Beach, Florida. Luis and Alexa got to see the beach for the first time and this was my second time. We had a blast, Alexa was so excited to go she wore her swimsuit all day the day before we left to drive to the beach. She built sand castles and collected sea shells. Moments like these we always be able to reminisce about. First time experieces of everything are always the ones you remember the most. Good weekend with just the three of us.
